Five Lightholm luminaire families now have published EPDs

Lightholm has taken another step forward in its sustainability journey, with Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) now published for five core luminaire families in the EPD International database.
The published EPDs cover:
- MOVO and MOVO S street luminaires
- GEO ST street luminaires
- GEO FL floodlights
- LORIEN park luminaires
- UKKO industrial luminaires
For consultants, municipalities, contractors, and infrastructure owners, this means easier access to verified environmental data when evaluating products for new projects and public tenders.
Environmental requirements are becoming increasingly important in procurement processes across Europe. By making EPDs available across multiple product categories, Lightholm helps customers streamline project documentation and make informed product selections based on transparent, independently verified information.
The EPD process has also provided valuable insights into the impacts of materials, manufacturing, transportation, and product use. These findings support Lightholm’s ongoing efforts to improve resource efficiency and reduce environmental impacts throughout the product lifecycle.
Sustainability has long been a key consideration in Lightholm’s product development. Many of our luminaires are designed for a long service life, low maintenance requirements, and easy servicing through replaceable components that help reduce waste and extend product longevity. Products such as the GEO family have been developed around modular design principles, allowing key components to be serviced or upgraded without replacing the entire luminaire.
By combining verified environmental data with durable product design, Lightholm continues to support customers seeking lighting solutions that deliver both technical performance and long-term sustainability value.
The publication of these EPDs marks an important milestone, but it is only one step in an ongoing journey. As our product portfolio continues to evolve, we remain committed to improving environmental performance, increasing transparency, and helping customers meet the sustainability expectations of tomorrow’s projects.
